Old garden favorite, popular for its huge scarlet blooms, with black blotches in the centers. Very hardy, yet moderately difficult to grow.
Perennials are grown the first year as the plants, and then flower every year following. Poppies like to be planted where they are to be grown, and do not respond well to transplanting. They prefer a dry or moderate atmosphere.
Full sun, blooms late Spring to early Summer.
