251 Beet Detroit Dark Red

This variety is perfectly round with dark red skin and interior with medium tops. Beets are tender, fine grained and very sweet. Medium sized tops are ideal for greens when picked before they are 8" tall. Mature beets are 2½ - 3" across with small collar and thin tap roots.
