Zinnia 'Purple Prince' has 4-5" wide flowers that are a medium purple. This species is native to Mexico, and plants are fast growing and long blooming. Zinnias are good cut flowers.
In addition, they are excellent for pollinator plantings and are especially attractive to butterflies.
Easy to sow. Prepare soil. Spinkle seed in desired location, whether in rows or scattered. Cover very lightly with soil or peat moss. Keep moist during germination. Sprouts appear in 7-10 days.
