379 Squash Table King Bush
An heirloom bush variety of acorn squash, this seed germinates in 7-12 days, and will be ready in 80-100 days. Prefers at least 6 hours of sunlight, even better with 8 or more.
Plant when danger of frost is over, and prepare soil with your favorite fertilizer. Plant in groups of 3 seeds, 20 feet apart, then thin to the strongest plants. Harvest fruits up to 2 lbs when fully ripe.

  • Dark, black-green fruits are 7" long by 5" across. Skin is hard, tough and deeply grooved. Flesh is orange-yellow, dry, sweet and has little fiber. Delicate flavor.

    Bush variety. Good for winter storage.
